Adrian Dolahenty -– Director
Adrian Dolahenty is the founder and director of political advocacy firm Kurrajong Strategic Counsel. He recently successfully advocated on behalf of three health sector clients who collectively received $26 million of Federal Government funding in the 2019-20 Budget.
Adrian has more than 27 years’ experience in corporate affairs including 13 years’ experience working at two multinational pharmaceutical companies. He has been a full-time newspaper journalist, magazine writer and editor, public relations consultant, disability service public relations manager, media communications manager, and an Army Reserve public affairs captain (six years).
Adrian was responsible for the strategic political advocacy for a pharmaceutical company that resulted in the reimbursement of major treatments to prevent blindness, strokes, and heart and lung disease. He has led organisations on political, issues, reputation and media management to drive organisational performance.
Briony Hutton -– Consultant
Briony Hutton is a consultant at Kurrajong Strategic Counsel. She has four years’ experience working in the Federal Government as a staff member to a Cabinet Minister across two ministerial portfolios.
Briony worked in the ministerial offices of the Federal Minister for Health and Sport and Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science as an assistant adviser and administrative and executive assistant to the chief-of-staff. She was responsible for stakeholder relations in the women’s health portfolio, provided administrative support and coordinated stakeholder meetings and events. Briony was previously an electorate officer for a Federal Member of Parliament.
